River cleanup coordinator training
The Community River Cleanup Coordinator Training equips future Riversavers with knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to lead cleanups, build international cooperation, and strengthen the Danube-wide network of riversavers.
We need the ones who take the lead and are equipped with all the knowledge to organize cleanups and move the community. These are special Riversaver with successful completion of the Community River Cleanup Coordinator Training! The training gives an opportunity to help the next generation of riversavers and to establish a continent-wide network of future colleagues, strengthening the bluejobs initiatives. During the training, the participants can will learn about the basics of river lit(t)eracy and the achievements of river protection to date, as well as further development opportunities. The participants took part in community river cleanup (CRC) action by boat and canoes as a field exercise, got acquainted with the professional river cleanup tools used by water authorities, and also learned the community waste collection and riverine waste sorting methodology. And at the end it is about strengthening environmental cooperation between the countries along the Danube.
